In The Beginning
My first love with computers was AOL 2.0 at my best friend’s house. We stayed up all hours of the night talking in chat rooms on our smoking 9600 baud modem, while paying for it all by the minute. How little did I know back then…
Education
I started messing with computers at age 15, I tinkered with my own personal computer to upgrade RAM and other parts for the next few years as a serious hobby. When I was 18 and out of high school I had a fantastic job (would you like fries with that?) making about 8 dollars an hour. I realized quickly that I needed to go back to school….and fast. I knew I loved to mess with computers and really thought that I knew a thing or two. So going to school for networking seemed like the logical choice. Man what a rude awakening that was. Here I thought that I knew everything there was about computers, to realize that I was about useless. While at school I met some of the most talented people I have ever come to know. I knew that networking was what I wanted to do, and what I loved. For the next 3 years I ate, slept and studied. And I have the certifications and weight to prove it!
After graduating from Networking School, I was offered a job as a junior instructor to teach the very classes that I was in. That was proudest job offer that I have ever received. I knew then that my time spent late night studying had paid off. I taught at the college for the next year until I left for better opportunities.
Kelly’s Role…
Kelly is our on staff graphic artist and photographer. When clients need something that is graphic design related, this is where Kelly shines. Technical aspects of computers come easy to Jessie, but as far as design and graphic appeal, lets just say he better not quit his day job. Kelly is responsible for designing logo’s and other business materials such as advertisements both for Dynamic Networks and our clients. She is a great asset to Dynamic Networks.
Education
Kelly graduated Calhoun College with a 2-year Associates degree in “Applied Communications and Film Design”. Her work experience has in been with professional photography studios, where she was responsible for portrait photography and graphic design for a wide range of projects. Kelly is an outstanding photographer and graphic artist, but strives to continue her growth professionally. Kelly is currently fluent in Photoshop 7-CS4 but is always in pursuit of expanding her education so she can integrate new skills into her portfolio.
Amanda’s Role…
When I first met Amanda, she was very quiet and shy. She had a very hard time talking on the phone (her main job function) without feeling embarrassed or unsure of how to proceed with the conversation. At first I was thinking to myself…”Self, what are we going to do with a secretary that can’t talk on the phone?”. Needless to say in the beginning it was challenging to get her comfortable in her new role. But for the last 3 years she has been a staple part of Dynamic Networks. She probably has the most interaction with the customers, and gets the brunt of any frustrations that they may be feeling. Her position is easily replaced, but her excellent customer relations and willingness to work at 110% at all times is irreplaceable. We as a company are truly bless for her to be on board.
Michael's Role...
Michael is a unique aspect to our business; he provides a lot of unseen work at Dynamic Networks. Anytime there is a big server role out or project, he is responsible for a lot of the heavy lifting and cable work. Without his hard work, some jobs would be almost impossible to get done in a timely manner. Beyond his physical efforts, he is also the company jester. He often provides wit humor to the situation. Whether you think he is funny or not makes no difference to him, he is always funny to himself. Thanks for being part of the team!
